Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between seasonal and permanent lighting?
Seasonal Christmas lighting is a temporary holiday display we plan, install, keep lit through the season, then remove and store until next year. Permanent outdoor lighting is a fixed architectural system that stays on your home all year for everyday curb appeal. They are two separate services, and we walk you through each one.
How does the quote process work?
Tell us about your home and which lighting you are interested in using the Request a Quote form or by phone. We confirm your project location and goals, plan a display, and send a written quote with the full scope before anything goes up.
What does seasonal display planning include?
For seasonal Christmas lighting, we plan a custom layout for your roofline, eaves, walkways, trees, shrubs, and columns, tailored to your home and your preferences. You see the full display in your quote before anything goes up.
Do you install, remove, and store the seasonal lights?
Yes. The seasonal service includes installation, fixes through the season if anything goes out, removal at the end, and storage until next year.
Who owns the seasonal lights?
We do. We own the lights, so there is nothing for you to buy or store. Installation, fixes through the season, removal, and storage are all included; just book again next year.
Can I use lights I already own?
Our seasonal displays use our own professional lights, included as part of your service, so there is nothing for you to buy, store, or maintain. We don't install customer owned lights for seasonal displays; the service is built around our equipment and care from plan to storage.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Centennial, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills, Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Littleton and the surrounding South Denver metro area. Include your address when you request a quote so we can confirm coverage, or browse our South Denver metro area service areas for city-specific details.
What permanent lighting system do you install and what warranty does it have?
We install a professional 24V RGBW permanent lighting system. Low-profile LED pucks mount in color-matched aluminum track along your roofline, keeping them discreet by day. Control is handled through the smartphone app with 73+ presets, and the system is backed by a 5-year warranty and IP68 weather rating.
How do I get help or ask a question?
Call us at 720-952-2500 or use the Request a Quote form and include your question in the project details. We are happy to walk you through either offering before you decide.
How visible is permanent lighting during the day?
A permanent system is designed to be discreet. We show you how it looks on your roofline from close up and from a normal viewing distance before installation, so you know what to expect during the day and at night.
How do the lights hold up to Colorado weather and snow?
Seasonal displays are installed for the holiday season and removed before harsher winter weather, so they are not exposed year-round. Permanent systems are built for year-round outdoor use. We will walk you through the system that fits your home and what to expect.
Will the lights raise my electricity bill?
Any electricity cost depends on three things: the wattage of your lights, how long they run each night, and your electricity rate. We review your lighting load, runtime, and rate during your quote so you know what to expect.
What happens if a light goes out or the system fails?
For seasonal displays, if a section goes out, call or text and we will get it fixed; that is included. For permanent systems, we cover what is included in your quote and walk you through the support before installation.
What if I need support for my permanent lighting system?
Your permanent quote includes the servicing and warranty terms. We review those with you so you know exactly what is covered before installation.
When are the seasonal lights removed and stored?
Removal and storage happen at the end of the holiday season. We schedule removal with you so the timing works, and storage is included.
How much does it cost?
Seasonal Christmas lighting starts at $800, with the average project around $1,300 and most homes running $800 to $2,600 depending on roofline length, height, and how much you want lit. That covers professional C9-style lights, custom-cut runs to your exact roofline, installation, fixes through the season if anything goes out, removal, and storage. Greenery accents like wreaths and garland and additional coverage such as trees, walkways, and columns add to the total. Permanent lighting systems start at $2,000, with the average project around $5,000 and most full-home installs running $2,000 to $12,000 based on linear footage, roofline height, and the number of zones. We send a written price for your specific project.
What drives the cost of my quote?
Pricing reflects your roofline size and height, your design scope, the length of the season and any in-season fixes for seasonal displays, and whether lights go up and come down each year or a permanent system is built in. We send a written price for your specific project, so request a quote for an exact proposal.
